Censeo are always mindful of the impartial nature of any Expert Witness appointment and that an Expert's overriding duty is to assist the Court or Tribunal. Censeo's personnel are fully conversant with the obligations placed upon Expert Witnesses by the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR 35) and the Protocol for the Instruction of Experts to give Evidence in Civil Claims applicable to all Expert Witness appointments in England.
Censeo's personnel have also acted as Expert Witnesses in international disputes and in adjudication, arbitration and litigation proceedings. As Expert Witnesses Censeo's personnel are mindful of the need for proportionality in any contentious matter and are aware of their duties in that regard.
Censeo's Expert Witnesses are firstly and foremost practioners in their specialist field and are not full time Expert Witnesses to the exclusion of professional practice. Censeo consider that it is only by being involved on a day to day basis on live projects that a professional can truly keep abreast of current developments and practices.
